Learn more at .Job OverviewWe are seeking a Junior Transport Supervisor to join our team at PIS Kolhapur. This is a full-time position requiring 1 to 3 years of experience in transport management. The successful candidate will oversee the transportation operations, ensuring efficient and safe transport services for our educational institution.Qualifications and Skills

• Demonstrated experience as a Transport Supervisor with a focus on transport management and operations.
• Proficiency in transport management, showcasing strong organizational and logistical abilities.
• Familiarity with fleet management systems is a must (Mandatory skill) to ensure efficient and streamlined transport operations.
• Solid understanding of bus maintenance procedures to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
• Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and supervise transport staff and coordinate activities.
• Excellent problem-solving capabilities to address and resolve transportation-related issues proactively.
• Effective communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders and provide clear instructions to drivers and staff.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize workload under tight deadlines.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day transport operations ensuring timely and safe transportation for all students and staff.
• Coordinate and manage the school bus fleet, ensuring all vehicles are well maintained and operationally ready.
• Implement and monitor compliance with transport policies and procedures to ensure regulatory adherence.
• Develop and update transport schedules and routes to optimize efficiency and reduce travel time.
• Supervise and provide guidance to the transport staff, including bus drivers and support staff.
• Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to ensure maintenance standards are upheld and safety is not compromised.
• Address any transportation-related issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to services.
• Liaise with parents and staff to address any concerns or requirements related to the school’s transport services.

Expected salary: Rs.30000 per month
