The Credit Officer will play a critical role in credit appraisal, risk assessment, and ensuring compliance for home loan applications. This role demands a proactive individual with strong decision-making and communication skills to contribute to the growth and efficiency of our credit operations.Key Responsibilities: * Credit Appraisal: Conduct detailed credit evaluations and assess financial viability for home loan applicants.

• Risk Assessment: Identify, analyze, and mitigate credit risks while ensuring adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
• Compliance Management: Ensure all credit approvals comply with company policies and legal guidelines.
• Decision-Making: Make informed decisions on loan approvals, keeping in mind organizational objectives and risk tolerance.
• Communication: Coordinate effectively with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to process applications efficiently.
• Documentation: Review and verify applicant documents for accuracy and authenticity.
• Market Insights: Stay updated on market trends, credit policies, and competitor practices in the home loan sector.
• Reporting: Prepare and present credit reports, recommendations, and observations to senior management.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and operations teams to streamline the credit approval process.
• Customer Engagement: Address customer queries and provide guidance on credit policies and processes.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Graduation (mandatory).
• Experience: At least 3 years in credit appraisal and risk assessment, specifically in Home Loans (HL).
• Skills:

• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• In-depth knowledge of credit policies, risk assessment, and compliance.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
• Ability to manage multiple credit applications and maintain accuracy under tight deadlines.
